Telestax 2019 Year in Review

Telestax closes out the decade with key product releases, new partnerships, and big plans for 2020.

In late 2018, Telestax was recognized by Frost & Sullivan with the North American Enabling Technology Leadership Award for its cloud-based Restcomm platform.

“By overlaying Restcomm’s white-label solution on top of their existing networks and infrastructure, service providers gain an advanced feature set and a level of agility previously unheard of in the telecommunications market, all with minimal investment and no significant infrastructure deployment,” said Michael Brandenburg, industry analyst, Connected Work. “This suite of solutions is particularly important to Tier II and Tier III service providers, which often do not have large product teams. Telestax levels the playing field for these providers.”

In April of 2019, Telestax was honored at Avaya Supplier Day in Singapore, where the organization was presented with an award in recognition and appreciation of dedicated support and partnership.

While Telestax had continued its commitment to growth the previous year by appointing Paul Doscher as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors, he was joined by Veena Vadgama Vice President of Marketing and Patrick Bonnaure Chief Financial Officer in June of 2019.

New Product Releases and Partnerships

The second half of 2019 brought key product releases including Smart 2FA which enables two-factor authentication for enterprise applications like digital wallets, live chat, and more.

A Cisco Solution Partner, Telestax also launched SMS enablement for Webex Teams and UC-One, helping users to more efficiently communicate with stakeholders outside of their organization by allowing them to text contacts directly.

In October and November, Telestax announced strategic partnerships with Zain Jordan, JUNO Software, and Kakapo Systems.

Predictions for 2020 and Beyond
